Apperian, a mobile application management (MAM) company, confirmed to MMW that it will be exhibiting at Xamarin Evolve, the largest cross-platform mobile event in the world hosted by long-time app development partner Xamarin, now part of Microsoft.
The partnership has enabled Xamarin’s mobile app developers to “quickly and securely publish, inspect, secure and sign new apps and app versions to an entire organization for testing, piloting and full deployment.”
Apperian’s MAM platform helps Xamarin app developers significantly reduce the complexity that comes with deploying business apps.
Deployment options are usually limited to public app stores, where apps are not secure, user targeting is difficult and the broad visibility of private apps is risky, or MDM app stores, where limited app management capabilities and prerequisites for having the device managed create a challenging experience for both admins and users.
“We’ve seen an explosion of interest from the Microsoft community and we’re excited to showcase our solutions at Evolve,” said Brian Day, president and CEO of Apperian. “Our platform is a strong complement to traditional EMM platforms. We integrate directly with app development tools for seamless onboarding and we apply security and management policies directly to apps which enables us to deploy them to any device – whether managed by MDM or not – and without requiring app code modifications.”
If you want to know more, Apperian will be showcasing its mobile app security and management capabilities at Xamarin Evolve, April 24 – 28 in Orlando, FL, at booth 104.
