Ahead of the weekend, Verve — a location-powered mobile marketing company — announced that Melanie Kalemba has been appointed to the newly created post of senior vice president and general manager of Verve Enterprise.
Reporting to CEO Nada Stirratt, Kalemba will “focus on scaling demand for the company’s enterprise technology solutions as it moves into new verticals following the release of Verve Velocity, its enhanced mobile location platform for marketing partners serving small and medium-sized businesses,” a provided statement reads.
Verve’s enterprise business grew significantly last year, accelerated by full-blown adoption by marketing partners such as Yellow Pages and Valassis.
“For more than a decade, Verve has shaped how the world’s most valuable brands influence consumers with mobile experiences that inspire action,” Stirratt said this week. “Melanie’s impressive track record scaling enterprise operations makes her the perfect addition to our leadership team.”
